WEBINAR: Biden’s Tax Plan, CA Propositions & Your Estate

As we wait for the transition of our presidency, hanging in the balance is the unknown of our nation’s federal tax plan going forward. In addition, many propositions in California have yet to be certified, further impacting tax and operations.

Many people are concerned about how a new administration might undo or modify the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) of 2017. What we know is that changes to the TCJA could begin as early as January 2021 and in the best-case scenario, we’ll have until 2025 until the estate tax exemption falls back to $5,000,000 with inflationary adjustments. At the state level, several CA propositions will impact how we invest and pass on properties and how we operate our businesses. Even certain propositions that may not pass may foreshadow the direction our state is evolving.

In this 45-minute education and informative webinar, Noelle shares tools and strategies to mitigate the effects of a potential change in the current federal tax plan and state-level changes for individuals and corporations.

Our analysis and mitigation strategies covers:
• Key findings of Biden’s Tax Plan and its impact on individuals and corporations
• CA Proposition 15, Change Commercial Property Tax
• CA Proposition 19, Change Property Tax Rules
• CA Proposition 21, Local Government Rent Control
• CA Proposition 22, App-Based Drivers as Contractors, Not Employees
• CA Proposition 24, Expand Consumer Privacy
